Photo of steam engine Western Maryland Scenic RR No. 734 on the turntable in Frostburg, MD. The "scenic" railroad apparently installed the turntable for the purpose of turnaround at the end of their line. The original main continued through to the left into a tunnel underneath Frostburg. The tunnel entrance is still there, but out of this view to the left. There is a nice set of steps to climb up the hillside into Frostburg, that provides great viewing of the turntable action. Beginning of November, 1996.
