Western Maryland Scenic Railroad. November, 1996. One of their GP30 diesels used to assist or replace the steam locomotive when necessary. The other GP30 is painted in Washington Redskins colors and is known as the Redskin but was not seen today. The Redskin was here first; this diesel was an unexpected feature today. Steam did not need help on today's run, but this diesel was latched to front upon return to station in Cumberland, MD. Engineer said something about the steam locomotive's brakes.

I think I digitally lightened this to see detail better because we are on the shadow side.
